8th Edition of La Cazuela de la Abuela

The weather here might be absolutely brilliant, but it is winter after all, so there is nothing better than having some lovely comfort food, and this is why Fuengirola organizes the popular food route called “La Cazuela de la Abuela” around this time of year.

This year in fact will be its 8th edition and many local bars and restaurants will participate in it. From Friday the 8th till Sunday the 24th of March they all will offer a delicious casserole and a drink (glass of wine, beer, soft drink or water) for only 2€.

As in the past 6 year, the Rivera Beach Club, which belongs to our sister hotel Hotel Yaramar, will also participate this year with a tasty traditional casserole from Barbate (Cadiz) that has red tuna, potato, pepper, onion, carrot, wine and spices as main ingredients… It sounds lovely, right?

The Erotic Tapas Route of Fuengirola 2018

This week here on the blog of Hotel Florida Spa we have the pleasure to announce the arrival of the great and much-awaited Erotic Tapas Route of Fuengirola.

This will be its 10th edition as since it first started in 2009 the number of visitors who come to our town to make the most of it has not stopped increasing.

The Erotic Tapas Route of Fuengirola will start this Thursday the 1st of November, it will be on till Sunday the 18th of November and the price of a tapa and a drink is only 2,50 €.

By the way, did you know that the Rivera Beach Club, which belongs to our sister hotel Hotel Yaramar, will participate again for the 6th time in a row?

Its friendly head chef, Salvador, who is now an expert in this kind of cuisine has prepared a fun and cheeky tapa with expectacular flavours.

The name he has given to his tapa is “Take my coat off and see I am naked” and it consists of a langoustine covered in curly fries, with milk aioli, 2 varieties of lettuce, cherry tomatoes and balsamic vinegar… It does sounds beautiful, doesn’t it?

As it is February and it is chillier than usual there is nothing better now than having some wintery comfort food, and this is why each February Fuengirola organizes the popular food route called “La Cazuela de la Abuela”.

This year in fact will be its 7th edition and 57 establishments will participate in it. From Friday the 16th till Sunday the 4th of March they all will offer a delicious casserole and a drink ( glass of wine, beer, soft drink or water) for only 2€.

As it is now tradition the Rivera Beach Club, which belongs to our sister hotel Hotel Yaramar, will also participate this year with a tasty traditional casserole from Jerez that has chickpeas, chorizo and black pudding as main ingredients… It sounds lovely, right?
