New Teatro del Soho

21loka

Did you know that world-famous Hollywood actor Antonio Banderas is from Malaga and that he is going to open a new theatre in the capital of Costa del Sol?

The theatre is called Teatro del Soho and it is right in the city centre in calle Córdoba, where former Teatro Alameda was.

Besides a theatre there will also be a great restaurant, which will be managed by well-known bodega El Pimpi, of which Banderas is part owner.

Its opening play is called “A Chorus Line”, it is a musical that will be on stage until Saturday, the 26th of January 2020, and Antonio Banderas plays the leading role.

Once it is over in Malaga “A Chorus Line” will go on tour to Bilbao, Madrid and Barcelona, and Spanish performer Pablo Puyol will play the same leading role that Antonio Banderas plays Málaga.

If you are planning on visiting Hotel Florida Spa soon, you love musicals and you are a massive fan of our most international actor we recommend you buy your tickets as soon as possible.

Tickets are now available online on El Corte Ingles and you can purchase them and check availability by clicking here

Enjoy this unique experience in Malaga!

La Casa de Los Navajas

14loka

Last week on the blog of Hotel Florida Spa, your Hotel en Fuengirola, we would like to recommend you one the most stunning and less known attractions in Costa del Sol.

Have you ever gone to Torremolinos, seen a beautiful building from the distance while having a walk along the Bajondillo Beach and have wondered what is it?

This small palace is known as La Casa de Los Navajas and was declared as Historical monument by the Andalusian Government.

It was built around 1925 by entrepreneur Antonio Navajas, was acquired by the Torremolinos Council in 2000 and it opened its doors to the public in 2014 after being restored.

Nowadays this beautiful 2-floor Moorish style revival little palace can be visited every day, from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. and from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00P.M.  and its entry is free.

If you are currently on holiday with us at Hotel Florida, and you would like to make the most of our beautiful autumn sun to explore Costa del Sol, we hope you don’t forget to add La Casa de Los Navajas to your list of places not to miss.

We reckon you will love it!
